24. Remove 6 nuts securing fuel pump to fuel tank.
25. Release and remove fuel pump from tank.
26. Remove seal from fuel pump.

27. Use tool 18G 1595 and remove locking ring from tank unit.
28. Remove fuel gauge tank unit and sealing ring.

29. Remove rubber pads from old fuel tank, apply adhesive and fit to new tank.
30. Remove 2 harness clips from old fuel tank and fit to new tank.
31. Clean tank unit and mating face on fuel tank.
32. Fit seal to tank unit.
33. Fit tank unit and secure with locking ring.

CAUTION: Ensure tag on tank unit engages with cut out in fuel tank.

34. Clean fuel pump and fuel tank mating faces.
35. Clean seal and fit to fuel pump.
36. Fit fuel pump to fuel tank, fit nuts and tighten to 9 Nm.
37. Connect breather valve hose to fuel tank.
38. Connect multiplug to fuel gauge tank unit and secure cover.
39. Secure fuel pump harness to clips on tank.
40. Fit fuel hose bracket to tank and secure with nut.
41. Fit filler hose to fuel tank and tighten clip.
42. Fit breather hose to fuel tank and secure with clip.
