Service Repair No. 12.13.07/12.13.09

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Raise front of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

  1. Remove 3 bolts securing R.H. splash shield.
  2. Remove splash shield.

  1. Remove 5 bolts securing timing belt upper cover.
  2. Remove upper cover
  3. Support R.H. side of engine on a trolley jack.

  1. Remove nut from centre bolt in engine R.H. mounting.
  2. Raise R.H. side of engine.

  1. Remove 5 bolts securing timing belt centre cover.
  2. Remove centre cover.

  1. Rotate engine anti - clockwise to align camshaft timing marks.
  2. Fit tool 18G 1523 to lock flywheel.
  3. Fit tool 18G 1524 to lock camshaft gears.
