Seat belt attachment with pre-tensioner

1. Move the seat backwards completely, slacken the two front screws fastening the guides to the floor.
2. Release the seat belt from the belt buckle (only for Spider).
3. Remove the seat.

Avoid dirtying or damaging the seat upholstery. Refit the seat reversing the sequence followed for removal.

REMOVAL/REFITTING

Before doing any work on the device closely follow the SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS given in group 55 - "ELECTRIC SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS", Section "Air Bag and Pre-tensioners". In particular disconnect both the battery terminals, isolate them accurately and wait for 10 minutes before doing any work.

– Remove the seat (see specific paragraph).

1. Tilt the seat back forward.
2. Slacken the screw fastening the seat belt attachment.
3. Remove the attachment complete with pre-tensioner, passing the belt buckle between the seat back and the cushion.

34 ÷ 42 Nm
3.5 ÷ 4.3 Kgm

During both dis-assembly and refitting operations avoid the use of pneumatic screwdrivers and under all circumstances avoid knocking the pre-tensioner.

Refit the pre-tensioner reversing the sequence followed for removal
