  1. If necessary, detach the heater pad from the upholstery.

Proceed with refitting the heater pad and cover, reversing the order of the operations carried out for their removal.

SEAT LIFTING UNIT

REMOVING - REFITTING

  • Remove the seat (see specific paragraph).
  • Remove the seat movement switch unit (see specific paragraph).
  • Remove the seat outer shield (see specific paragraph).
  • Remove the seat centre cushion (see specific paragraph).
  1. Gently lift the cover retaining tabs.
  2. Disconnect and move the seat cover slightly.
  3. Working on both sides of the seat, undo the bolts (3a) and the nuts (3b).
  4. Extract the individual electrical connections for the backrest angle adjustment motor.

  1. Undo the bolts on both sides of the seat.
  2. Remove the seat lifting unit.

Proceed with refitting the seat lifting unit, reversing the order of the operations carried out for the removal.
