CHANGE ENGINE OIL
Engine oil is harmful to skin: keep contact with skin to a minimum and if there is contact wash with soap and water.
- Position the vehicle on a lift.
- Remove the filler cap with the engine hot.
- Release the engine oil dipstick.
- Position a suitable container for collecting the used engine oil.
1. Undo the engine oil drain plug, located on the crankcase sump.
Be very careful when removing the drain plug, the oil could be very hot.
Do not let the oil disperse into the atmosphere as this could cause pollution.
- Clean the drain plug and tighten the gasket to the recommended torque.
- Refill the engine lubrication circuit with the recommended oil in the quantities indicated.

- Check that the engine oil level is correct using the dipstick.
The oil level is checked with the vehicle on a flat surface.
- Fit the filler cap, let the engine idle for about 2 minutes, switch off the engine and then wait for several minutes.
- Check the oil level and make sure there are no leaks.
- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
