Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Remove the sound insulation cover fastened to the engine by three pins.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.

1. Undo the radiator coolant drain plug.

Collect the coolant in a suitable container.

1. Loosen the bands and disconnect the engine coolant supply reservoir pipes.

1. Rotate the engine coolant supply reservoir as illustrated in the diagram, then remove it.

Refitting

- Place the engine coolant supply reservoir in its housing.

- Connect the pipes to the engine coolant supply reservoir and tighten the bands.

- Tighten the radiator coolant drain plug.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.

- Place the sound insulation cover back in its housing and secure it to the engine using the three pins.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1.9 JTD 8v, 1.9 JTD 16v, 2.4 JTD 20v

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Remove the sound insulation cover fastened to the engine by three pins.

Collect the coolant in a suitable container.

1. Loosen the bands and disconnect the engine coolant supply reservoir pipes.

1. Rotate the engine coolant supply reservoir as illustrated in the diagram, then remove it.

Refitting

- Place the engine coolant supply reservoir in its housing.

- Connect the pipes to the engine coolant supply reservoir and tighten the bands.

- Tighten the coolant drain plug to the radiator.

- Place the sound insulation cover back in its housing and secure it to the engine using the three pins.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
