Refitting

1. Empty the oil contained in the compressor into a graduated vessel, pouring it from the coolant inlet and outlet holes.

During this operation, to discharge the oil completely, rotate the compressor pulley by a few turns to fully discharge all the cylinders.

• Measure the quantity of discharged oil and if necessary integrate with the prescribed lubricant.

The oil is very hydroscopic: do not leave the containers open. Leave the compressor disconnected from the air conditioner circuit only for the time strictly necessary for the intervention.

1. Pour the lubricant into the compressor through the coolant inlet and outlet holes.

Refitting

Replace all O-Rings on the pipe fittings at every disassembly. Only use green O-Rings, compatible with coolant R134a. Lubricate the fitting threads with anti-freeze oil.

• Refit the air conditioner compressor and fasten the coolant inlet and outlet pipes, tightening the screws to correct torque.

• Tighten temporarily the compressor lower fastening screw.
• Assemble the air conditioner compressor bracket and fasten with the screws.
• Tighten the conditioner compressor fastening screws to correct torque
