Refitting

(Op. 5040A40 continued)

1. Unscrew the condenser pipe/dehydrator filter fastening screws.
2. Unscrew the condenser duct fastening screws.
3. Remove the condenser duct with the dehydration filter.

Close the disconnected pipes with sealing plugs to prevent moisture and impurities entering the system.

Only leave the components of the air conditioner cooling circuit components disconnected for the time strictly necessary for the intervention.

Refitting

Replace the pipe fitting O-Rings at every disassembly. Use only green O-Rings, compatible with coolant R134a. Lubricate the fitting threads with anti-freeze oil.

• Assemble the conveyor complete with fan and dehydration filter on the condenser and fasten with the screws.
• Tighten the condenser pipe/dehydration filter fastening screws to correct torque

• Refit the condenser group in the engine compartment inserting the body flexible support in the left panel.
• Tighten the condenser right bracket fastening screws.
• Tighten the condenser left fastening nut.
• Connect the condenser cooling fan motor electrical connections

• Join the compressor/condenser pipe to the condenser and tighten the screw to correct torque

• Complete with Op. 7055B10 FRONT BUMPER - R+R.
• Assemble the front supplementary wheel housings (see Op. 7055B42 SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL HOUSING (one) - R+R).
• Assemble the engine compartment protection and fasten with its screws.
• Complete with Op. 4450B12 Front WHEELS (two) - R.R.
• Lower the vehicle.
• Join the dehydration filter/expansion valve pipe to the dehydration filter and tighten the screw to correct torque

• Connect the 3-level pressure switch electrical connections

• Complete with Op. 1048A28 Vacuum air circuit RESOUNDING DEVICE - R+R.
• Complete with Op. 5040A10 Air conditioner cooling CIRCUIT
• Dehydration and Recharging.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Remove the body protection cover.
• Close the engine compartment.
• Remove the vehicle from the shop jack.
