Refitting

Remove the expansion valve from the evaporator (see Op. 5040B30 Expansion VALVE (orifice tube) - R.R.).

Only leave the air conditioner cooling circuit components disconnected for the time strictly necessary to carry out the intervention.

Refitting

At every disassembly replace the O-Rings of the pipe fittings. Only use green O-Rings, compatible with the coolant R134a. Lubricate the fitting threads with anti-freeze oil.

• Assemble the expansion valve on the evaporator(see Op. 5040B30 Expansion VALVE (orifice tube) - R.R.).
• Insert the evaporator in the air conditioner box with the expansion valve.
• Fit the frost sensor on the air conditioner evaporator.
• Assemble the cover on the evaporator and fasten with the screws.
• Assemble the heater radiator with the cock (see Op. 5040C54 Air conditioner HEATER RADIATOR - R.R. with air conditioner box removed).
