Refitting

Only leave the dehydration filter and other air conditioner cooling circuit components disconnected for the time strictly necessary to carry out the intervention.

Refitting

At every disassembly replace the O-Rings of the pipe fittings. Only use green O-Rings, compatible with the coolant R134a. Lubricate the fitting threads with anti-freeze oil.

• Assemble the dehydration filter/accumulator and insert the bracket screws without tightening them.
• Partially lower the car.
• Assemble the condenser pipe/dehydration filter and tighten the screws to correct torque

• Lower the car completely.
• Join the dehydration filter pipe/expansion valve to the dehydration filter and tighten the screw to correct torque

• Connect the 3-level pressure switch electrical connection

• Raise the vehicle completely.
• Tighten the dehydration filter bracket/accumulator screws.
• Complete with Op. 7055B10 FRONT BUMPER - R+R.
• Assemble the front supplementary wheel housings (see Op. 7055B42 SUPPLEMENTARY WHEEL HOUSING (one) - R+R).
• Assemble the engine compartment protection and fasten with its screws.
• Complete with Op. 4450B12 Front WHEELS (two) - R.R.
• Lower the vehicle.
• Complete with Op. 1048A28 Vacuum air circuit RESOUNDING DEVICE - R+R.
• Complete with Op. 5040A10 Air conditioner cooling CIRCUIT - Dehydration and Recharging.
• Connect the negative (-) battery terminal

• Remove the body protection cover.
• Close the engine compartment.
• Remove the vehicle from the shop jack.

Observe the prescribed safety precautions. (see GROUP 50 - WARNINGS).

Removal

• Position the vehicle on a shop jack.
• Open the engine compartment.
• Assemble the body protection covers.
• Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

• Carry out Op. 5040A10 Air conditioner cooling CIRCUIT - Dehydration and Recharging.
• Raise the vehicle.
• Perform Op. 4450B12 Front WHEELS (two) - R.R.

1. Unscrew the engine compartment protection screws.
2. Remove the engine compartment protection.
