ABS ECU - UP TO 2000MY

Service repair no - 70.25.34

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
Abs ecu - up to 2000my – Disconnect battery earth lead.
  1. Disconnect multiplug from ABS ECU.
  2. Loosen 3 nuts securing ABS modulator and ECU assembly to mounting bracket.
  3. Release ABS modulator and ECU from bracket.
  4. Remove rubber mounting from front of ECU.
Abs ecu - up to 2000my – Remove rubber mounting from front of ECU.
  1. Remove 4 Tx25 Torx screws securing ECU to modulator.
  2. Remove mounting spigot from ECU using a Tx30 adapter.
  3. Release ECU from modulator.

Refit

  1. Fit ECU to modulator and tighten screws to 8 Nm.
  2. Fit mounting spigot to ECU and tighten to 15 Nm.
  3. Fit mounting rubber to spigot.
  4. Locate ECU and modulator assembly in mounting bracket and tighten nuts to 10 Nm.
  5. Connect multiplug to ECU.
  6. Connect battery earth lead.
