REAR SPRING

Service repair no - 64.20.01

The procedure for renewing the rear spring is identical to renewing the rear damper. See this section.

REAR DAMPER

Service repair no - 64.30.02

Remove

  1. Raise rear of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

  1. Remove road wheel(s).
Rear damper – Remove road wheel(s).
  1. Remove screw securing side carpet and pull aside for access.
Rear damper – Remove screw securing side carpet and pull aside for access.
  1. Remove upper cover from damper.
  2. Remove 2 nuts securing damper to body.
  3. Support ’H’ frame on jack.
