Service Repair No. 76.82.04

Adjust

  1. Slide back sun roof visor.

  1. Open sun roof in tilt position.
  2. Release 2 turnbuckles securing channel assembly to culisse.
  3. Slide channel assembly into tray.

8RM 1504

  1. Tilt sun roof.
  2. Slacken 6 screws securing sun roof lid to culisse.
  3. Centralise lid in roof aperture, set front edge flush to 1 mm below roof panel and rear edge flush to 1 mm above roof panel.
  4. Tighten sun roof lid to culisse screws to 6 Nm.
  5. Slide channel assembly from back of tray to sun roof lid.
  6. Secure channel assembly turnbuckles to each culisse.
  7. Close sun roof lid.

Adjust

  1. Electric sun roof: Remove sun roof motor, see Sun roof motor.
    Manual sun roof: Remove sun roof drive gear, see Sun roof drive gear and handle.

  1. Align guide rail to set plates.
  2. Insert alignment pins (4mm drill) guide rail to set plates.
  3. Electric sun roof: Fit sun roof motor, see Sun roof motor
    Manual sun roof: Fit sun roof drive gear, see Sun roof drive gear and handle.
