Handle

  1. Remove screw securing sun roof handle.
  2. Remove sun roof handle.

Drive gear.

  1. Remove 2 screws, escutcheon to sun roof.
  2. Remove escutcheon.
  3. Release front of aperture seal and lower headlining for access.

  1. Remove 4 screws, sun roof drive gear to mounting bracket.
  2. Remove sun roof drive gear.

Refit

  1. Ensure drive gear shaft is in the locked position. Drive gear shaft will not be able to be turned by hand , and the locking pin (A) must be fully extended and drop into the locating hole in the handle.
  2. Position sun roof drive gear to mounting bracket, tighten screws to 3 Nm.
  3. Position escutcheon to sun roof, tighten screws to 2 Nm.
  4. Fit headlining and aperture seal.
  5. Fit handle and tighten screw.
  6. Remove alignment tools
  7. Fit sunroof wind deflector.
  8. Fit sunroof lid
