Do not carry out further dismantling if component is removed for access only

  1. Remove old seal from sun roof.
  2. Clean contact face, position and secure new seal.

Refit

  1. Position sun roof assembly to roof panel.
  2. Align sun roof assembly to datum holes, tighten bolts to 6 Nm.
  3. Fit drain tubes and secure with clips.
  4. Fit interior lamp wiring clips.
  5. Connect sun roof motor multiplug and secure cable.
  6. Fit headlining.
  7. Fit sun roof lid.

'T' BAR SUN ROOF AND FRAME – COUPE

Service Repair No. 76.82.20

Remove

  1. Release handles and raise sun roof lids.
  2. Release catches, remove both sun roof lids.
  3. Release catches and remove 'T' bar.

  1. Remove primary and secondary seals.

Note: Seals may be re - used if undamaged.

  1. Remove rear headlining.
  2. Remove front headlining.

  1. Release clips securing remaining 'A' post trim panel to body.
  2. Release seal from upper 'A' post and cantrail, remove trim panel.

  1. Release 4 drain tubes.
