Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Replacement Removal Procedure 1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . 2. Remove the instrument panel outer compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Compartment Replacement .            3. Unclip the 2 retainers (arrow). 4. Remove the instrument panel wiring harness fuse block housing (1) from the instrument panel wiring harness fuse block bracket and lay aside.            Warning: The trim cover and trim cover retainer/fastener may have sharp edges. To avoid personal injury, cover the edges using fabric tape. 5. Remove the clutch pedal position sensor bolt (2) through the left instrument panel lower trim panel. 6. Disconnect the clutch pedal position sensor wiring harness connector. 7. Remove the clutch pedal position sensor (1). Installation Procedure            1. Install the clutch pedal position sensor (1). 2. Connect the clutch pedal position sensor wiring harness connector. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution . 3. Install the clutch pedal position sensor bolt (2) and tighten to 3 N·m (27 lb in) .            4. Install the instrument panel wiring harness fuse block housing (1) to the instrument panel wiring harness fuse block bracket. 5. Clip in the 2 retainers (arrow). 6. Install the instrument panel outer compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Compartment Replacement . 7. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . 8. Learn the clutch pedal position sensor.   •  F17-5, refer to Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Learn .   •  M32-6, refer to Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Learn .   •  F40-6, refer to Clutch Pedal Position Sensor Learn .
