CENTRE CONSOLE

REMOVAL / REFITTING (to '97 versions)

  • Remove the tunnel console (see specific paragraph).
  1. Turn the vents upwards beyond the normal adjustment and moving them to the horizontal position.
  2. Release the upper and lower locking tabs.
  3. Remove the vent unit.

  1. Withdraw and remove the three climate control knobs.
  2. Prise and remove the radio compartment.

  1. Slacken the two upper screws.
  2. Slacken the two centre screws.
  3. Slacken the two lower screws.

  1. Move aside the centre console.
  2. Disconnect the three connections.
  3. Remove the two bulb holders.
  • Remove the centre console.

Refit the centre console reversing the sequence followed for removal.
