DASHBOARD
DESCRIPTION
The dashboard of the new car is a one-piece type covered with soft material which is appealing to the eye and touch.
The design of the dashboard is the result of detailed ergonomic studies to optimise the volumes, the arrangement of the controls and the classical sporting style.
The main instruments are housed in the instrument cluster protected by an upper hood fastened to the dashboard.
The secondary controls are housed in the centre console in a position that has characterised the more sporty Alfa Romeo models of the past.
The centre console blends perfectly with the tunnel console which contains the ashtray, cigar lighter, door mirror control and sunroof switch (GTV).
In view of reaching high standards of safety, the dashboard and all the interior components have been designed to dramatically reduce the consequences of violent impact connected with the various hypothetically accidents. Rounded shapes, finishing without protrusions, soft and yielding components are not only a styling feature of the car, but they make the passenger compartment "friendly" to driver and passengers alike.
The upper section of the dashboard contains the Air Bag module housing compartment (optional).
