  1. Lift the rearview mirror/electrical hood switch plate from its seat on the central tunnel from the side shown by the arrow.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connections and take the plate and switches.
  3. Open the ashtray and remove it.

  1. Loosen the ashtray bracket fastening screw.
  2. Remove the ashtray bracket slightly.
  3. Disconnect the bulb electrical connection.
  4. Lift the handbrake lever and open the panel retainer collar.
  5. Lift the handbrake cover in the direction shown by the arrow.

  1. Open the gear stick cover retainer collar.
  2. Lift the handbrake lever cover by lifting the frame in area (A).

  1. Loosen the tunnel unit fastening screws.
  2. Lift the tunnel unit slightly.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connection and take the tunnel unit.

Refit the tunnel unit by reversing the removal sequence.
