- ENGINE RPM SENSOR IRREGULARITY LEARNING PROCEDURE.
- Start the engine.
- If the MIL warning light flashes on the control panel, the engine rpm sensor irregularity learning procedure must be carried out.
- With the engine running, wait for it to warm up (approx. 77°C).
- Press the accelerator at least 3 times until 600 rpm is reached; after each press, completely release the accelerator pedal and wait until the engine rpm comes down to the minimum value.
- If the MIL warning light is still flashing at the end of the operation, it means that the self-learning is not complete, therefore repeat the operations described above until the warning light stops flashing.
- Turn the engine off and wait a minute for the data to be stored in the permanent memory.
-The diagnostic instrument may be used to find out whether the sensor irregularity has been learnt or not, irrespective of the information displayed on the MIL warning light.
