Operation 1076A48 · EXHAUST PIPE FASTENINGS AND PROTECTIONS

1.3 Multijet

Removing

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R

Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R

Op. 1084B40 ENGINE OIL DELIVERY PIPE TO TURBOCHARGER - R + R

Op. 1080B90 LAMBDA SENSOR - R.R.

1. Undo the fixing bolts (1a) and place the rigid supply pipe for the engine oil heat exchanger (1b) to one side.

2. Undo the fixing bolts (2a) and place the engine oil heat exchanger guard (2a) to one side.

3. Undo the bolts (3a) and the nuts (3b) and remove the catalytic converter heat shield (3c).

Refitting

- Fit the catalytic converter heat shield in place and tighten the fixing nuts and bolts.

- Position the heat exchanger guard and tighten the bolts.

- Position the rigid supply ipe for the engine oil heat exchanger and tighten the fixing bolts.

- Connect the negative battery terminal.
