1.4 16v

Removing

The version without air conditioning is illustrated below.

1. Detach the electrical connection for the fan.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the fan (2b) releasing it from underneath the vehicle.

1. If necessary, undo the nuts to separate the fan (1a) from the duct (1b).

Refitting

- Place the fan on the duct and tighten the nuts.

- Place the fan back in its housing and fasten it to the radiator using the bolts.

- Secure the fan electrical connection.

Op. 1064B42 SOLENOID CONTROLLING TURBOCHARGER VANE POSITION ACTUATOR - R.R

1. Disconnect the resistor electrical connection.

1. Undo the bolts fixing the rigid air supply pipe to the heat exchanger to the crossmember under the radiator.

1. Detach the electrical connection for the fan.

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the fan (2b) moving the heat exchanger rigid air supply pipe as far away as necessary.

Refitting

- Place the fan back in its housing and fasten it using the bolts.

- Secure the fan electrical connection.

- Place the heat exchanger rigid air supply pipe in position and tighten the bolts fixing it to the crossmember under the radiator.

- Connect the resistor electrical connection.

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

1. Disconnect the rapid connector for the radiator upper coolant inlet hose, radiator side.

1. Disconnect the resistor electrical connection.

2. Detach the electrical connection for the fan.

3. Undo the bolts (3a) and remove the fan (3b).

1. If necessary, undo the nuts to separate the fan (1a) from the duct (1b).

1. If necessary, undo the bolt and remove the resistor.

Refitting

- Place the fan in position and tighten the bolts.

- Secure the fan electrical connection.

- Connect the resistor electrical connection.

- Connect the rapid connector for the radiator upper coolant inlet hose, radiator side.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.
