Removing

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Op. 1072C44 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT SHIELD - R+R

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the hose from the water pump rigid inlet pipe.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the hose from the water pump rigid inlet pipe.

2. Undo the bolt (2a) and remove the water pump inlet pipe (2b).

3. Remove the seal.

Refitting

- Place the water pump rigid inlet pipe, complete with new gasket, in position and secure it using the bolt.

- Connect the hoses to the water pump rigid inlet pipe and tighten the bands.

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

1. Undo the bolts fixing the rigid supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger.

2. Undo the bolt fixing the water pump rigid inlet pipe to the cylinder head.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the coolant outlet hose from the radiator.

2. Undo thebolt and move the connector bracket aside.

3. Undo the bolts fixing the water pump rigid inlet pipe to the cylinder head.

1. Loosen the bands, disconnect the hose from the connector on the thermostat and remove the water pump rigid inlet pipe.

- Loosen the band and disconnect the hose from the water pump rigid inlet pipe.

Refitting

- Connect the hose to the water pump rigid inlet pipe using the band.

- Place the water pump rigid inlet pipe in position and tighten the bolts fixing it to the cylinder head.

- Place the connector bracket in its housing and secure it using the bolt.

- Connect the coolant outlet hose, thermostat side, to the radiator and tighten the band.

- Tighten the bolts fixing the rigid supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 7055B54 UNDER ENGINE PROTECTION/GUARD - R.R.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

1. Undo the oil vapour pipe fixing bolt.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the return pipe from the heater.

3. Loosen the band and disconnect the supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger.

4. Undo the bolt fixing the water pump rigid inlet pipe to the cylinder head.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger.

2. Undo the connector holder bracket retaining bolt

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the supply pipe to the engine oil heat exchanger.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the radiator water outlet pipe, water pump side.

3. Undo the bolts and remove the water pump inlet pipe complete with gasket.

Refitting

- Place the water pump rigid return pipe, complete with new gasket, in position and tighten the bolts.

- Connect the radiator water outlet pipe, water pump side and tighten the band.

- Connect the engine oil heat exchanger coolant supply pipe using the band.

- Tighten the connector holder bracket retaining bolt.

- Connect the engine oil heat exchanger coolant outlet pipe and tighten the band.

- Connect the engine oil heat exchanger coolant supply pipe using the band.

- Connect the return pipe from the heater and tighten the band.

- Tighten the oil vapour pipe fixing bolt.

Op. 1088D55 COOLANT SUPPLY PIPE TO ENGINE OIL HEAT EXCHANGER - R.R.

Op. 1088D51 COOLANT SUPPLY PIPE FROM CRANKCASE TO OIL/WATER HEAT EXCHANGER - R.R. WITH REAR ENGINE SUPPORT REMOVED

Op. 1088D50 ENGINE COOLANT OUTLET PIPE FROM TURBOCHARGER - R.R.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the heater return pipe, water pump rigid return pipe side.

2. Undo the bolt fixing the water pump rigid inlet pipe to the cylinder head.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the outlet hose from the radiator, water pump rigid inlet pipe side.

1. Undo the bolt fixing the water pump rigid inlet pipe to the cylinder block/crankcase.

2. Remove the water pump rigid inlet pipe.

1. Remove the O-rings (1a) and (1b) from the water pump rigid inlet pipe (1c).

Refitting

- Fit new O-rings on the water pump rigid inlet pipe.

- Place the water pump rigid inlet pipe in position and tighten the bolt securing it to the cylinder block/crankcase.

- Connect the radiator water outlet hose, water pump rigid inlet pipe side and tighten the band.

- Tighten the bolt fixing the water pump rigid inlet pipe to the cylinder head.

- Connect the return pipe to the heater, water pump rigid inlet pipe side and tighten the band.
