Removing

The version without air conditioning is illustrated below.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

Op. 7055B65 ENGINE COMPARTMENT DUST COVER IN LEFT FRONT WHEEL ARCH - R.R.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the pipe between the supply reservoir and engine cooling radiator, radiator side.

2. Disconnect the rapid connector for the radiator lower outlet pipe.

1. Disconnect the rapid connector for the upper hose from the radiator.

Op. 1088E10 RADIATOR COOLING FAN - R + R

1. Undo the right upper radiator retaining bolt

1. Undo the left upper radiator retaining bolt

1. Raise the vehicle and remove the radiator complete with flexible mountings.

1. If necessary, remove the upper flexible mountings securing the radiator.

Refitting

- Fit the upper flexible mountings on the radiator.

- Place the radiator in its housing and tighten the fixing bolts.

Op. 1088E10 RADIATOR COOLING FAN - R + R

- Connect the rapid connector securing the upper hose to the radiator.

- Connect the rapid connector for the radiator lower outlet pipe.

- Connect the pipe between the supply reservoir and the engine cooling radiator, radiator side and tighten the band.

1. Secure the air conditioning system condenser (1a), undo the fixing bolts (1b) and compress the clip (1c) to disconnect it from the radiator.

1. Disconnect the rapid connector for the radiator water outlet pipe and move it to one side.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the system supply pipe from the radiator.

1. Disconnect the resistor electrical connection.

2. Disconnect the rapid connector for the radiator water inlet pipe and move it to one side.

1. Undo the left upper radiator retaining bolt

1. Undo the right upper radiator retaining bolt

- Position a hydraulic lift under the radiator supporting crossmember.

1. Detach the electrical connection for the fan.

2. Unscrew the bolts (2a) securing the radiator supporting crossmember (2b) to the bodyshell.

- Adjust the hydraulic lift to lower the crossmember complete with radiator.

1. Separate the crossmember (1a) from the radiator (1b).

2. Undo the bolts (2a) and remove the fan (2b).

Refitting

- Place the fan back in its housing and fasten it using the bolts.

- Position the radiator on the supporting crossmember.

- Using the hydraulic lift, place the crossmember complete with radiator in position and secure it using the bolts.

- Secure the fan electrical connection.

- Connect the system supply pipe to the radiator and tighten the band.

- Place it in position and connect the radiator water outlet pipe using the rapid connector.

- Tighten the radiator upper fixing bolts.

- Connect the resistor electrical connection.

- Place it in position and connect the radiator water inlet pipe using the rapid connector.

- Place the air conditioning system condenser in position until the retaining clip is attached and tighten the bolts securing it to the radiator.

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

1. Disconnect the quick coupling for the radiator water outlet pipe and move it to one side.

2. Loosen the band and disconnect the system supply pipe from the radiator.

1. Disconnect the resistor electrical connection.

2. Disconnect the quick coupling for the radiator water inlet pipe and move it to one side.

3. Undo the left upper radiator retaining bolt

1. Undo the right upper radiator retaining bolt

- Position a hydraulic lift under the radiator supporting crossmember.

1. Detach the electrical connection for the fan.

2. Unscrew bolts (2a) securing radiator supporting crossmember (2b) to the body.

- Adjust the hydraulic lift to lower the crossmember complete with radiator.

1. Separate crossmember (1a) from radiator (1b).

2. Undo bolts (2a) and remove fan (2b).

Refitting

- Place the fan back in its housing and fasten it using the bolts.

- Position the radiator on the supporting crossmember.

- Using the hydraulic lift, place the crossmember complete with radiator in position and secure it using the bolts.

- Connect the electrical connection for the fan.

- Connect the system supply pipe to the radiator and tighten the band.

- Place it in position and connect the radiator water outlet pipe using the quick coupling.

- Tighten the radiator upper retaining bolts.

- Connect the resistor electrical connection.

- Place it in position and connect the radiator water inlet pipe using the quick coupling.

- Place the air conditioning system condenser in position until the retaining clip engages and tighten the bolts securing it to the radiator.
