1.9 Multijet

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

1. Undo the bolts fixing the engine coolant reservoir to the crossmember and move it.

1. Loosen the band (1a), disconnect the rapid connector (1b) and remove the radiator upper coolantinlet hose (1c).

Refitting

- Place the radiator upper coolant inlet hose in position, connect the rapid connector and tighten the band.

- Place the engine coolant reservoir in position and tighten the bolt fixing it to the upper crossmember.

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1.2 8v, 1.4 8v

Removing

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

1. Undo the bolts and move the engine coolant reservoir to one side.

1. Loosen the bands and disconnect the upper coolant inlet hose to the radiator.

Refitting

- Refit the upper coolant outlet hose to the radiator and secure it using the bands.

- Fit the engine cooling reservoir in place and secure it using the bolts.

1.3 Multijet

Removing

- Position the vehicle on a lift.

Op. 5530B52 BATTERY SUPPORT/DRIP TRAY - R.R

Op. 1048A10 AIR FILTER ASSEMBLY - R.R.

Op. 1048A23 COLD AIR INTAKE FOR AIR FILTER - R.R

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the radiator upper coolant inlet hose, radiator side.

Drain the coolant into a suitable container.

1. Loosen the band and disconnect the radiator upper coolant inlet hose, thermostat side and remove it.

Refitting

- Refit the lower coolant outlet hose from the radiator and secure it using the bands.

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

- Remove the vehicle from the lift.

1.4 16v

Removing

Op. 0010T20 ENGINE COOLANT - CHANGE

1. Undo the bolts and move the coolant reservoir aside.

1. Loosen the bands and remove the upper coolant inlet hose to the radiator.

Refitting

- Refit the lower coolant outlet hose from the radiator and secure it using the bands.

- Place the coolant reservoir in its housing and secure it using the bolts.
