Connecting fixed advance (after engine TDC) =

Fitting procedure: with cylinder n° 1 at TDC set the pump so that the pump stroke is equal to 0.66 mm.

Electrical stop control: minimum operating voltage 8 V. Rated voltage 11÷13V.

Maximum free running engine speed: 5150±50 rpm.

Engine idle speed: 880+0-50 rpm.

  • (●) Fuel return from the pump to the tank.
  • (●●) To be carried out with the electrical stop control switched off.
  • (●●●) Pull the lever against the stop.
  • (▲) Q max= intake capacity.
  • (▲ ▲) LFT lever in end of travel position on right stop.
  • (■) Supply the solenoid valve at 12V.
  • (■■) Insert a 12 mm sensor between the accelerator lever and the 3rd stop screw.

Micro-switch check

  1. Contact open = lever travel 11,6 mm
  2. Contact closed = lever travel 12,4 mm

SUPERCHARGING

Turbocharger operated by exhaust gases, cooled by engine coolant with waste gate valve and air/air heat exchanger.

Maximum supercharging pressure              at 3000 rpm 0,9 bar
