ALARM - Functional description

Functional description

The alarm system is managed by an alarm control unit built into Body Computer M1: it is supplied from the battery from the line of maxifuse CPL B99 - pin 18 of connector F and from a line protected by fuse F39 - pin 17 of connector F; the supply controlled by the ignition (INT) reaches pin 9.

The Body Computer M1 receives the 'door open' input signals at pin 8 (driver's door), pin 25 (front passenger's door), pin 16 (rear left door) and 26 (rear right door) of connector E. the same signals turn on the timed lights See E2510 COURTESY LIGHTS.

The bonnet lid is controlled by switch I10, which is connected to pin 24 of connector B di M1, while the boot not properly closed signal reaches switch I11, which is connected to pin 24 of connector E (the same switch turns on the boot light via a different contact: See E2520 GLOVE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT - SUN VISOR LIGHT ).

Siren P90 is supplied by Body Computer M1, from pin 34 of connector B, and is connected to pin 25 via a dedicated serial line.

Volumetric sensors K62 are supplied by Body Computer M1, from pin 39 of connector E, and connected via a dedicated serial line to pin 7 of connector D.

Unit K062 is supplied by ignition-operated line (INT) protected by fuse F49 of underfacia control unit B2; It contains a button to turn off the volumetric sensors.

The deterrent LED E40, located in the driver's front door, is connected to pins 6 and 8 of connector C of M66 and from there, via the CAN network, to the Body Computer M1.

Aerial receiver P93 sends Body Computer M1 a signal controlling the doors and also the alarm signal by connecting to pins 21 and 31 of connector B.

The aerial-receivier P93 sends the Body Computer M1 the signal to open/close the doors and also windows and sunroof, by connecting to pins 21 and 31 of connector B See E3040 CENTRAL LOCKING.

Passive entry

Functional description

The aerial-receivier P15 sends the Passive Entry control unit M64 the signal to open/close the doors and also windows and sunroof. The control unit sends the request to Body Computer M1See E7018 PASSIVE ENTRY via the CAN network.
