HEATED SEATS DESCRIPTION

Description

The front seats are available, on request, with a special heating system (comprising two heating elements located in the cushion and the backrest): this allows the seat to be heated to overcome the discomfort of cold passenger compartments in very harsh climates, e.g. when the car is left in the open for long periods in winter.

The heating device located in each seat consists of two resistors activated by a switch located on the outside of the seat.

There are four positions for the control for switching the heating system on/off:

  • 0 = off;
  • 1 = minimum heating;
  • 2 = medium heating;
  • 3 = maximum heating.

A special LED in the actual switches indicates that the resistances are switched on.

The resistances can be switched on with the engine running.

This logic is managed by a specific control unit for each seat.

The circuit for each seat is protected by a specific fuse, located in the additional fuse box
