SUN ROOF DESCRIPTION

Description

The vehicle may be equipped with three electric sun roofs - front, centre and rear - that can be activated using the control buttons but only with the key in position M.

With the key in position S, the roof controls remain activated for around 1 minute.

The roofs are fitted with a sliding sun blind and an anti-crush safety system. The control unit is capable of detecting the presence of an obstacle whilst the roof is closing by means of the anti-crush safety sensors: in this case, the system interrupts the travel of the window and reverses the direction immediately.

After the battery has been disconnected, if the roof does not work when the closing control is operated, the system must be initialized: release the control and operate it a second time until the roof is completely closed, keeping it activated for more than a second after the end of travel position has been reached: in this way regular operation will be resumed.

There are two control switches at the front:

• one for the front roof;
• for the simultaneous operation, from the front seats, of the centre and rear roofs;

There is a control switch, in the centre and at the back, for the centre and roof roofs, respectively.

Each roof can be initially tilted open/closed and then fully opened/closed

For the safety of the rear passengers (children) the system allows the inhibition of the controls in the second and third rows by pressing the "locking" button located on the driver''s front door which cuts off the power supply to the switches on the rear doors < R1 > and the sliding doors < R2 >

The roofs are equipped with a sliding sun blind and safety system with anti-crush seals: the control unit is capable of detecting the presence of any obstacles whilst the glass is closing; in such a case the system stops the movement of the glass and reverses it immediately.

After the battery has been disconnected, if the roof does not work when the closing control is operated, the system must be initialized: release the control and operate it a second time until the roof is completely closed, keeping it activated for more than a second after the end of travel position has been reached; the system is capable of resuring normal operation.
