CABLE - AIR DISTRIBUTION CONTROL

Service repair no - 80.10.12

Remove

  1. Remove front console. See BODY, Interior trim components.
Cable - air distribution control – Remove front console. See BODY, Interior trim components.
  1. Remove 4 screws securing controls to fascia.
  2. Release controls from fascia.
Cable - air distribution control – Release controls from fascia.
  1. Remove screw securing cable clamp to controls and collect clamp.
  2. Release cable from controls.
Cable - air distribution control – Release cable from controls.
  1. Remove clip securing cable outer to heater.
  2. Remove star washer securing cable to air distribution control lever.
  3. Remove cable from heater.

Refit

  1. Position cable to air distribution control lever and secure with star washer.
  2. Engage cable to heater controls.
  3. Align collar of outer cable to heater control abutment and secure with clamp.
  4. Turn distribution control fully anti-clockwise to face vent position.
  5. Position air distribution lever fully forward.
  6. Align outer cable to abutment and secure with clip.
  7. Position controls to fascia and secure with screws.
  8. Fit front console. See BODY, Interior trim components.
