Condenser - ’l’ series

Refit

1. Position compressor to mounting bracket and secure with bolts. Tighten bolts to 45 Nm.
2. Fit front beam. See FRONT SUSPENSION, Repairs.
3. Fit compressor upper mounting bolts and tighten to 45 Nm.
4. Position pulley to PAS pump and secure with Torx screws.
5. Remove plugs from air conditioning pipes.
6. Fit new ’O’ rings to pipes and lubricate with refrigerant oil.
7. Connect air conditioning pipes to compressor and secure with bolt. Tighten bolt to 17 Nm.
8. Fit bolt securing air conditioning pipe to bonnet locking platform.
9. Connect multiplug to compressor.
10. Fit auxiliary drive belt. See ELECTRICAL, Repairs.
11. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
12. Replace receiver/drier. See this section.
13. Connect battery earth lead.
14. Recharge air conditioning system. See REPAIR MANUAL - Air Conditioning, Adjustments.

CONDENSER - ’L’ SERIES

Service repair no - 82.15.07

Remove

1. Recover refrigerant from air conditioning system. See REPAIR MANUAL - Air Conditioning, Adjustments.

2. Remove 4 bolts securing radiator mounting brackets to bonnet locking platform.
3. Remove brackets.

4. Release 3 clips securing bonnet switch harness to locking platform.
5. Release clip securing bonnet cable to locking platform.
6. Remove 6 bolts securing locking platform to body.
7. Remove bonnet locking platform.
