  1. Remove 2 lever bushes and spacer.
  2. Remove lever from dashpot diaphragm rod.
  3. Remove dashpot diaphragm.

Refit

  1. Position dashpot diaphragm and fit throttle lever.
  2. Position lever spacer and 2 bushes.
  3. Position dashpot diaphragm and lever assembly to throttle body.
  4. Fit nut and washers securing throttle lever and tighten nut.
  5. Align dashpot diaphragm to throttle body, fit washers and 2 screws and tighten screws.
  6. Connect vacuum hose to dashpot diaphragm.
  7. Adjust throttle cable, see Adjustments.
  8. Connect battery earth lead.

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.

  1. Release multiplug from clip.
  2. Disconnect multiplug.
  3. Disconnect vacuum hose.
  4. Remove 2 bolts securing valve to manifold.
  5. Remove valve.
  6. Remove 'O' ring.

Refit

  1. Clean mating faces.
  2. Lubricate 'O' ring with engine oil and fit to valve.
  3. Position valve, fit and tighten 2 bolts.
  4. Connect vacuum hose.
  5. Connect multiplug and secure multiplug to clip.
  6. Connect battery earth lead.
