The Altea and Toledo communications systems comprise: the Radio / CD equipment or the Radio / Navigation system, the telephone installation, the aerial system, the loudspeakers and the external CD changer, as well as controls on the steering wheel. Combining the Bluetooth telephone system with a high level instrument panel we have the information on the DOT -Matrix display.
Since 06.06 an external connection has been installed to enable the audio system fitted in the vehicle to be used by external AUX equipment.
Since 09.06 the standard fitting of an external CD has been replaced by a USB or IPod connection in the same position.
From 03.09, the display of the Climatronic (air conditioner) will be replaced and the information of the air conditioner will be shown in the radio display.
This equipment may be purchased as optional equipment fitted as standard, or in After-sales some may be fitted in kit form.

Communication with other vehicle systems is through Can bus and Gateway.

t  It is not necessary to activate the anti-theft code of the radio installed in the Altea 2004, Toledo 2005 or Altea XL as this has already been done (SAFE - comfort).

t  If the battery is re-connected, the vehicle equipment must be checked (radio, clock, electrical comfort system etc.), following the instructions in the Repair Manual or Owner's Manual.
