When re-connecting battery -A-, always adhere to correct sequence for connecting and disconnecting battery -A- → Electrical System; Rep. gr.27.
Overview
Navigation system RNS-E is an enhanced version of navigation system II-D. The function selection switch -E91- is integrated into the device (same as MMI operation). A DVD (map of Europe) is used as the navigation media.
The display can be folded open. A DVD drive and two card readers are located behind the display.
Additionally, the navigation system RNS-E contains a radio, two MP3 card readers and a connection possibility fornavigation system tuners, TV -J415-. The DVD drive can be used to play music CDs.
Fault finding is performed via the „Guided Fault Finding“ → Vehicle diagnostic tester.
