REST

The rest state is the base state of the alarm system.

From this state, you can change to the state of:

  • diagnosis: when a diagnosis session is activated by a diagnostic instrument connected to the BC.
  • surveillance: when, by means of a command to switch on and passing through the switching on stage, the car is to be protected
  • OFF: when an enabled key is recognised by the immobilizer.

In the rest condition, the BC continues to acquire the state of +15 to prevent the change to surveillance and, above all, to alarm. This information distinguishes the two basic modes of the rest state: car operating (+15 present), or abandoned (+15

absent), which is a prelude to the surveillance condidtion.
