- Remove both centre console side trims:

- Remove both the electric window switches:

- Remove both diffusors:

1. Disconnect electrical connections (1a) and retrieve Air Bag module (1b) freeing it from the rear retainers.

Refit the Air Bag module in the special cupboard, resting it on a free surface with the bag facing upwards.

Refitting

Handle the Air Bag module very carefully. Make sure that the battery is disconnected.

If a new module is being fitted, position the labels. Remove the removable part of the adhesive label from the new module and place it in a special file giving the vehicle details (model, registration details, chassis no.) and the serial number of the old module. The file should be kept for future checks. A new adhesive plate comes with the module and should be stuck on top of the existing one. Before sticking it, it should be perforated at the month and 14 years after the year in which the module is being fitted (e.g. 2021 for 2007).

1. Connect electrical connections (1a) and position Air Bag module (1b) in its housing, attaching it to the rear retainers.

- Connect the battery terminals.

- Use Examiner to check for errors and remove any that may be present.
