2. Unscrew the sheath fastening screw and take out the air distribution flap control cable.
3. Unscrew the sheath fastening screw and take out the air intake/recirculation flap control cable.
4. Disconnect the climate control air fan electrical connection

5. Take out the switch control group lighting bulb holders.
6. Separate the air conditioner control support from the bracket.

• Remove the air fan resistor (see Op. 5040C48 Air conditioner fan motor RESISTOR - R.R.).
• Carry out Op. 5040C34 AIR CONDITIONER FAN - R.R. with air conditioner box removed.
• Carry out Op. 5040C54 Air conditioner HEATER RADIATOR - R.R. with air conditioner box removed.
• Carry out Op. 5040C58 Air conditioner heater radiator COCK - R.R.
• Remove the heater cock control from the air conditioner box.
• Carry out Op. 5040B30 Expansion VALVE (orifice tube) - R.R.
• Carry out Op. 5040C66 Air conditioner EVAPORATOR - R.R. with air conditioner box removed.
• Take out the fastening clip and remove the frost sensor from the air conditioner evaporator .
• Take out the frost sensor cable from the fairlead on the air conditioner box.

1. Disconnect the frost sensor control unit electrical connection

2. Unscrew screw (2a) and remove the frost sensor control unit (2b) from the air conditioner box.

1. Remove the air conditioner box gasket.
2. Remove the air distribution .
3. Unscrew the fastening screw and remove toothed sector of the air distribution flaps .
4. Raise the fastening tabs and take out the air distribution flaps toothed sectors.

Note: Mark the assembly position of the small toothed sectors.
