GENERATOR Refit

Service repair no - 86.10.02

  1. Fit bolts and tighten nuts securing generator to

Remove

  1. Connect leads to rear of generator and secure
  2. Disconnect battery negative lead.
  3. Remove drive belt. See Auxiliary drive belt 12. Feed lucar through aperture in rear cover and
  4. Remove cover from rear of generator.
  5. Fit cover to rear of generator.
  6. Fit drive belt.
  7. Reconnect battery negative lead.
Generator refit – Reconnect battery negative lead.
  1. Disconnect Lucar from rear of generator and collect cover.
  2. Remove 2 nuts securing leads to rear of generator.
  3. Disconnect leads from rear of generator.
Generator refit – Disconnect leads from rear of generator.
  1. Remove 2 bolts securing generator to mounting bracket and collect nuts.
  2. Remove generator.
  3. Fit generator to mounting bracket.
