EXHAUST MANIFOLD - ’L’ SERIES WITHOUT INTERCOOLER

Service repair no - 30.15.10

Remove

  1. Remove inlet and exhaust manifold assembly. See this section.

  1. Remove 3 nuts securing exhaust manifold to turbocharger.
  2. Remove exhaust manifold.

Refit

  1. Clean mating faces of exhaust manifold and turbocharger.
  2. Fit exhaust manifold to turbocharger, fit nuts and tighten to 25 Nm.
  3. Fit inlet and exhaust manifold assembly. See this section.

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Remove engine acoustic cover. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
Exhaust manifold - ’l’ series with intercooler – Remove engine acoustic cover. See BODY, Exterior fittings.
  1. Loosen clip and disconnect breather hose from camshaft cover.
  2. Disconnect multiplug from MAF sensor.
  3. Release 2 clips securing MAF sensor to air filter.
  4. Loosen clip and disconnect air intake hose from turbocharger.
