CAMSHAFT TIMING BELT UPPER COVER

Service repair no - 12.65.41

Remove

  1. Disconnect battery earth lead.
  2. Remove engine RH mounting. See this section.
Camshaft timing belt upper cover – Remove engine RH mounting. See this section.
  1. Remove 4 bolts securing camshaft timing upper cover to engine.
  2. Remove camshaft timing belt upper cover

Refit

  1. Clean camshaft timing belt upper cover.
  2. Fit camshaft timing belt upper cover to engine.
  3. Fit bolts securing cover to engine and tighten to 5 Nm.
  4. Fit engine RH mounting. See this section.
  5. Connect battery earth lead.

CAMSHAFT TIMING BELT CENTRE COVER

Service repair no - 12.65.44

Remove

  1. Remove camshaft timing belt upper cover. See this section.
Camshaft timing belt centre cover – Remove camshaft timing belt upper cover. See this section.
  1. Release engine harness clip from centre cover.
  2. Remove 5 bolts securing centre cover to engine.
  3. Remove camshaft timing belt centre cover.

Refit

  1. Clean camshaft timing belt centre cover.
  2. Fit camshaft timing belt centre cover to engine.
  3. Fit bolts securing centre cover to engine and tighten to 5 Nm.
  4. Secure engine harness clip to centre cover.
  5. Fit camshaft timing belt upper cover. See this section.
