BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH ADJUST - CRUISE CONTROL - KV6

Service repair no - 19.75.38

  1. Release 4 turnbuckles and remove fascia lower cover.
  2. Release 2 turnbuckles and remove pedal box closing panel.
Brake pedal switch adjust - cruise control - kv6 – Release 2 turnbuckles and remove pedal box closing panel.
  1. Disconnect multiplug from switch.
  2. Loosen switch locknut.
  3. Connect ohmmeter across terminals. if reading is infinity, turn switch anti-clockwise until zero reading is obtained.
  4. Turn switch clockwise until infinity reading is just obtained.
  5. Turn switch clockwise 1 complete turn and tighten locknut.

CAUTION: Ensure switch plunger does not hold pedal off its return stop.

  1. Connect multiplug to switch.
  2. Refit pedal closing panel.
  3. Refit fascia lower cover.
