IDENTIFICATION NUMBER LOCATIONS

Engine number

2.0 ’T’ Series Engine: Stamped above No.4 cylinder block core plug.

2.5 KV6 engine: Stamped on rear face of LH cylinder bank adjacent to gearbox.

Diesel Engine: Stamped on a plate attached to the front face of cylinder block below injection pump.

Manual gearbox number

2.0 & 2.5 petrol models: Stamped on a label attached to the front face of the clutch housing.

2.5 diesel models: Stamped on a label attached to the front face of the clutch housing.

Automatic Gearbox number

2.0 petrol models: Stamped on a plate attached to the bottom face of the gearbox.

2.5 petrol models: Stamped on the top face of the gearbox.

Body number

The body number is stamped on a plate fixed to the floor to the LH side of the spare wheel compartment.
