  1. Slacken clip, disconnect expansion tank hose from inlet manifold.

  1. Remove banjo bolt and 2 sealing washers, disconnect brake servo hose from manifold, discard sealing washers.

Plastic inlet manifold

  1. Release throttle cable from clip.
  2. Depress plastic collar to release quick fit connector and disconnect brake servo hose from inlet manifold.
  3. Slacken clip, disconnect expansion tank hose from inlet manifold.

  1. K16: Remove 2 bolts and camshaft rear cover plate from cylinder head.

  1. Fit lifting bracket tool 18G 1572/1 to cylinder head, tighten to 9 Nm.

  1. Fit lifting bracket tool 18G 1572/2 to cylinder head above dipstick tube, tighten to 9 Nm.
