  1. Plastic inlet manifold: Release cable from retaining clip on inlet manifold.

  1. Remove 4 screws securing windscreen wiper motor to bulkhead.
  2. Release windscreen wiper motor from bulkhead.

All models

  1. Release cable from bulkhead

  1. Disconnect cable from throttle pedal; withdraw cable.

Refit

  1. Locate cable in bulkhead.
  2. Connect cable to throttle pedal.
  3. Connect cable to cam.
  4. Adjust throttle cable, see Adjustments.
  5. Secure cable in clip.
  6. R.H.D. vehicles only: Position windscreen wiper motor to bulkhead, fit and tighten screws.

TURBOCHARGER – T16

Service Repair No. 19.42.01

Remove

  1. Disconnect both battery leads.
  2. Remove bolt and battery clamp, lift out battery.
  3. Remove air cleaner.
  4. Remove intercooler.
  5. Drain cooling system, see MAINTENANCE.
  6. Remove alternator, see ELECTRICAL – Repairs.
  7. Remove exhaust manifold and turbocharger, see MANIFOLD & EXHAUST – Repairs.

  1. Remove 4 nuts securing turbocharger to exhaust manifold.
  2. Remove manifold from turbocharger.
  3. Remove gasket.
