  1. Using tool no. 1.823.014.000 disconnect the cable sleeve from the centre pillar.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connection.

  1. Slacken the two screws fastening the door to the hinges.
  2. Raise the door until the taper pins of the hinges are removed from their housings, then remove the door.

ADJUSTMENT

  1. Slacken the screws fastening the hinges to the body and adjust the height and longitudinal alignment.
  2. If necessary place suitable shims under the hinges to adjust the position of the door.

REAR DOOR LOCK STRIKER

REMOVAL/REFITTING

  1. Slacken the two fastening screws and remove the striker.

ADJUSTMENT

  • Slacken the door striker fastening screws and adjust the striker until the door closes correctly, then tighten the screws.
  • If necessary place suitable shims under the striker to adjust door closing.
