POWER SUPPLY CHECK

• Connect the positive probe of an Examiner in Voltmeter mode to terminal 1 of the pressure sensor and the negative probe to terminal 2
• Turn the key to the MAR position
• Read a voltage of around 5 Volts

PRESSURE SIGNAL CHECK

• Connect the positive probe of an Examiner in Voltmeter mode to pin 1 of the pressure sensor and the negative probe to pin 2
• With the engine running, read a voltage value that is directly proportional to the pressure detected in the particulate filter, as in the attached graph
