1.9 JTD 8v, 1.9 JTD 16v, 2.4 JTD 20v

CHECK TO BE PERFORMEDRESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK
1With the engine idling and warm, with all users off and the accelerator pedal not operated, the target Diesel Pressure and the measured Diesel Pressure must be in a range between 200 and 500 barsMove on to Step 3
2

When the accelerator pedal is pumped several times, the measured Diesel Pressure must be in a range between 200 and 1500 bar.

3

Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.

Disconnect the cable loom connector from the fuel pressure sensor.

See K083 FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR

Turn the ignition key ON. Measure the voltage between Pin 3 of the sensor and Earth, checking that it is within a range between 4.8 and 5.2 V.

See K083 FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR
