FLOW METER OPERATION CHECK
| STEP | CHECK TO BE PERFORMED | RESOLUTION IF THE CHECK IS NOT OK |

| 1 | Turn the ignition key OFF. Disconnect the cable loom connector from the air flow meter. Turn the ignition key ON. Check that the voltage between pin 1 of the meter and the earth is greater than 11 V. Move on to Step 3 | Move on to Step 2 |
| 2 | If faults are found, restore the wiring between the engine compartment junction unit and the flow meter See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Replace it if necessary. The test can be considered over | Replace the junction unit Op. 5505A13 ADDITIONAL JUNCTION UNIT IN ENGINE COMPARTMENT - R.R. |
| 3 | Check that the voltage between pins 1 and 2 of the meter Replace the wiring if necessary. is greater than 11 V. Move on to Step 5 | Move on to Step 4 |
| 4 | If faults are found, restore the wiring between the engine control unit and the debimeter See E5050 DIESEL ENGINES ELECTRONIC MANAGEMENT Replace it if necessary. The test can be considered over | Replace the engine management control unit |
| 5 | Check that the voltage between pin 3 of the meter and earth is between 4.8 and 5.2 V | Move on to Step 4 |
| 6 | Replace the flow meter | Repair the original flow meter and replace the engine management control unit. |
