1.2 16v

Removing

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

1. Remove retaining bands (1a) and disconnect pipe from tappet cover vent (1b) and from air intake sleeve (1c)

2. Disconnect intake manifold connection tube.

Removing

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

1. Remove retaining bands (1a) and disconnect pipe from tappet cover vent (1b) and from air intake sleeve (1c)

2. Disconnect intake manifold connection tube.

1.6 16v

Removing

- 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r

1. Open the retaining bands (1a) and remove the engine oil vapour recovery pipe (1b).

1.8 16v

Removing

- 1048A28 vacuum air circuit resonator pipe - r+r

1. Undo bolt (1a) and disconnect oil vapour intake pipe (1b) from the fitting on the cam cover.

2. Disconnect the pipe from the fittings on the throttle body (2a) and remove vapour intake pipe (2b).

2.4 20v

Removing

- 1016A40 ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r.

1. Remove the band (1a) on the throttle body sleeve and the band (1b) on the cam cover.

2. Remove the engine oil vapour intake pipe.

1.2 16v

Refitting

Connect intake manifold connection tube.

Connect oil vapour inlet pipe to tappet cover vent and to air intake manifold and secure using retaining bands.

1.4 16v

Refitting

Connect intake manifold connection tube.

Connect oil vapour inlet pipe to tappet cover vent and to air intake manifold and secure using retaining bands.

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

1.6 16v

Refitting

Place the engine oil vapour recovery pipe back in its housing and secure it using the bands.

- 1016A10 sound-proofing cover - r + r

1.8 16v

Refitting

Position the oil vapour intake pipe and connect it to the throttle body and cam cover.

Tighten the bolts securing the pipe to the cam cover.

- 1048A28 vacuum air circuit resonator pipe - r+r

2.4 20v

Refitting

Fit the engine oil vapour intake pipe.

Use bands to secure the pipe to the throttle body sleeve and cam cover.

- 1016A40 ignition coil cover on cylinder head- r+r.
