HEADLAMP ASSEMBLY

Service repair no - 86.40.49

  1. Remove front bumper valance, See BODY, Exterior fittings.
Headlamp assembly – Remove front bumper valance, See BODY, Exterior fittings.
  1. Disconnect multiplug from headlamp.
  2. Remove 2 headlamp upper retaining bolts and 1 lower Torx screw.
  3. Release headlamp from lower and side retaining clips.
  4. Remove headlamp assembly.

Refit

  1. Fit headlamp assembly.
  2. Fit and finger tighten both upper bolts.
  3. Fit and tighten Torx screw to 6 Nm.
  4. Tighten upper bolts to 6 Nm.
  5. Fit front bumper valance, See BODY, Exterior fittings.
  6. Adjust headlamp, See Adjustments.

HEADLAMP LENS

Service repair no - 86.41.25

  1. Remove headlamp, See this section.
Headlamp lens – Remove headlamp, See this section.
  1. Release 5 clips securing lens to headlamp assembly.
  2. Remove lens from headlamp assembly.

Refit

  1. Fit headlamp lens to housing and secure with clips.
  2. Fit headlamp assembly. See this section.
